- Al Michaels Announces
-
- HardBall III
- ------------
-
- HardBall! has outsold every baseball game in history for a simple
- reason. It's more fun. And this latest generation turns it up another
- notch with superior graphics, effortless gameplay, major-league realism
- and more of the authentic nuances that serious baseball fans want in a
- simulation.
-
-
- Some of its features:
- ---------------------
-
- Digitized play-by-play commentary by Al Michaels (network sportscaster)
- that will leave you speechless. (Requires XMS or EMS memory.)
-
- Digitized players and 256 color VGA graphics. The league's best double
- play combo. Visuals that capture the heat of the pennant race.
-
- Can you homer at 8 accurately rendered famous ballparks? Actual
- outfield dimensions test your power. Sky one in Toronto or go deep in
- the "friendly confines". This demo contains 3 ballparks; can you
- recognize them?
-
- Close up views zoom in on the bang-bang plays. Five cameras cover the
- field. Watch instant replays and save the best for your Highlight Reel.
-
- Textbook "team effort" defense. The fundamentals from Spring training.
- Cut-off men take throws. Outfielders back each other up.
-
- Act as manager and owner. Take charge. Team and Player Editors let you
- alter everything from team logos to a player's ability.
-
- Import data from other baseball games. Acquire an entire ballclub from
- HardBall II (TM), Earl Weaver II (TM) or Tony LaRussa (TM).
-
- Play a 162 game major league season. Welcome to The Show, complete with
- an all-star game. Compile stats as you play.
-
- Print out stats to disk or paper. Better than the daily sports page.
- Get ballplayer stats, boxscores and standings.
-
-
